A wise woman once told me that guilt is the price of Motherhood. I didn;t know what that meant when I was preganant, but now as a mother of 2, I get it. I feel guilty about what I don't od, what I do, if it is enough, if it is too much...I TOTALLy agree wih this!
Thanks for your comment. I was a little surprised by the article that I got the quote from and then the more that I thought about it, the more I felt that it was really insightful.
It seems like every woman I meet these days who is just beginning their journey with Christ has one big issue - guilt. Many of them are really trapped - even paralyzed - until they can understand and accept grace. I think it's a very true statement.
Thanks for your comment. I hadn't found it something that I had really noticed, but I'm listening for it now. And I'm wondering how much of it has to do with a difficulty forgiving ourselves, in addition to other aspects.
